Nit Wits

Dear Clairlea Families,

We have recently decided to bring the services of Nit Wits to our school community.  Nit Wits is a private company that works within many different schools and organizations to conduct lice checks throughout the year.  Nit Wits will be coming to Clairlea on the following dates to check our students for head lice:

                    Friday, March 21 and

                    Thursday, May 22.

The cost of this service is $5.00 per child and this fee includes two lice checks, education and any necessary follow-up and support for families.  Normally, we would have volunteers from our immediate community that were able to provide this service to our school.  This year, however, we had limited response and as such, felt that Nit Wits was the best viable option. 

We ask that you kindly send in the $5.00 to your child’s classroom teacher by Friday, February 28^th.  If you have questions or concerns, please contact us at the office at your earliest convenience.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation and continued support.
