Eggs-citement!

We've had so much fun this week welcoming our new friends. The chicks finally decided to poke out early this morning after almost a whole week of watching them wiggle and hearing them chirp!
Other fun activities we did this week include: making playdough, showing numbers, building a home for the chicks, doing puzzles, finger painting poppies, making chicks, visiting the book fair, and participating in the Remembrance Day assembly.
Here's a look :)

  1. Lennox was quite excited yesterday about the chicks hatching! How do you say 'chick' in French - is it poussin?

  2. I think all of us were!
Yes, poussin is the French word for chick. And as of this morning we have six! :)

  3. I'll be sure to update Lennox on the additional hatchlings! And thanks for clarifying! We googled it, but didn't recognize that word so didn't want to use it and confuse him if that wasn't what you were using in class. Merci!
